Hello, my name is Rebecca. I'm 26 years old and was born in Oxfordshire, England. I have been living and teaching in Beijing for almost a year and I’m fully embracing it!
I started my educational days in secondary school taking a GCSE course in Health and Social Care which brought me to want to work with young learners. Between education, I used to work with a company that visited children’s homes and taught groups of all ages how to make jewelry and I also worked in a nursery. I then began looking into my passion of Art and Design, resulting in completing an extended diploma in Art and Design and then achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Product design. From this point, I wanted to incorporate my creative skills and my experience with children together so I started working as a design and technology teacher at a private school in Oxfordshire. I have also tutored children from different backgrounds and ages through teaching, playing and caring.
I come from a long line of female teachers in my family starting from my grandmother, to my mother, to me. I love to travel and learn new cultures which brought me to complete a Teach English as a Foreign Language course. In-turn, this certificate allowed me to fly to China and follow my dream of teaching English in a different country with young learners.
Bringing creativity and learning together will be the perfect recipe for what Imagine International Preschool will provide for your children. Working with children is the most rewarding job I have had and so, I cannot wait to meet my class and watch them grow mentally, physically and emotionally with my care, love and attention. 大家好！我叫丽贝卡（中文名字邓心宜），26岁，出生在英国牛津郡，在北京生活和教学已经一年了！我在中学时期就开始了对教育学的学习，主修健康和社会关GCSE课程，因此对少儿教育充满兴趣。在教育期间，我曾参与儿童之家移动工作坊的项目，教授不同年龄段学生制作珠宝，我还在一家托儿所工作。然后我开始在艺术和设计领域学习，最终完成了艺术和设计的延伸文凭，然后获得了产品设计的学士学位。从这一点出发，我想把我的创造性技能和我与孩子们的经验结合起来。所以我开始在牛津郡的一所私立学校当设计和技术老师。我还通过教学、玩耍和关爱，辅导了来自不同背景和年龄的孩子。
我的家庭自我的祖母起，我的母亲、及其他许多家庭成员都在从事教育工作，可谓是“女教师之家 ”。我喜欢旅行和学习新的文化，这使我完成了英语教学作为一门外语课程。反过来，这个证书让我飞到中国，追随我的梦想，在一个不同的国家为少年儿童教授英语。将创造力和学习结合在一起将是爱朗国际幼儿园为您的孩子提供的完美配方。和孩子们一起工作是我所拥有的最有价值的工作，所以我迫不及待地想见到我的班级，看着他们在我的关心、爱和关注下，在精神上、身体上和情感上成长。我们会玩得很开心的！
